What this item is for

The Spot 400-R provides a manufacturer-rated maximum of 400 lumens and charges its integrated 1500 mAh battery through Micro-USB. Features include dimming, red light and a control lock. The headband leaves your hands free for tasks.

Suits equipment with a regular USB charging routine. This rechargeable version is an alternative to the AAA-powered Spot 400.

What to look out for

Plan for a Micro-USB cable and charging source. The integrated battery cannot simply be replaced with AAA cells on a trip. Maximum output and runtime are not a simultaneous continuous-use guarantee.
